About Best Marketing
Best Marketing is an independent publication of marketing tutorials, playbooks, know-how and short courses. We cover the disciplines that decide whether a campaign works — search, content, paid & social, email, analytics and branding — and we explain them the way a working practitioner would, not the way a press release would.
What we believe
Most marketing advice online is either vague ("create great content!") or a thinly rewritten version of someone else's post. We try to be the opposite: specific, testable and honest about uncertainty. When we cite a number — a benchmark, an algorithm change, a platform policy — we link the primary source so you can check it yourself and see when it was published.
How we work
- Sources over opinions. Platform claims are linked to official documentation (Google Search Central, Meta, Google Ads, the FTC, and similar). Statistics are dated.
- Education, not guarantees. Results depend on your audience, budget, offer and market. We teach methods; we don't promise outcomes.
- One real editor. Every guide is reviewed by our editor before it goes live. See our editorial standards.
The editor
Editing is handled by Joy Jacob, who reviews each tutorial for accuracy, currency and clarity. Spotted something out of date? Tell us — corrections ship fast.
